I had a great stay at the Marriott Vacation Club in NYC, thanks to its perfect location and fab rooftop bar with stunning views of the Empire State Building. The rooms were a bit compact but well-equipped and clean, making my stay comfortable overall. However, I did experience some noise disturbances from the hallway, which took away from the peace I was looking for after a long day exploring the city.

Rooms
8.0
The room was small but comfortable with a fridge, coffee machine, and a cozy sofa. The shower pressure was excellent, but I noticed a lack of shelving for toiletries, which was a bit inconvenient.
Service

The staff were friendly and accommodating, really making my stay enjoyable. They even recommended local laundry services when I needed it.
Location
10.0
Centrally located, I could easily walk to major attractions like Central Park and Times Square. The proximity to public transport was a big plus.
Dining

While there was no breakfast on-site, the complimentary snacks and coffee in the lobby were nice touches. I also appreciated the discount at nearby cafes.

The rooftop bar was a highlight, but I did miss having guest laundry facilities available, which are found in other Pulse locations.

6.0/10

I had a mixed experience during my stay at Marriott Vacation Club in New York City. While the rooftop bar offered stunning views and the staff were really helpful, my room was disappointingly small and I faced some inconsistencies with service. The location was excellent for exploring the city, but I was definitely hoping for better accommodations next time.

Rooms
5.0
The room was tiny, and the bathroom felt cramped. I found it difficult to move around comfortably, which was disappointing for my first trip to NYC.
Service
6.0
Most staff were friendly and accommodating, especially Jocelyn who guided us on tours. However, there were some communication issues that affected my overall experience, especially at the front desk.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location was perfect for getting around and walking to many attractions in the city. I could easily explore and make the most of my time there.
Dining
5.0
While the rooftop bar had nice views, the food options were a bit pricey and the quality didn’t match the cost. I also found the complimentary snacks in the lobby to be underwhelming.
Facilities
7.0
The rooftop bar had great ambiance. The daily organized activities were a nice touch, but my overall impression of the physical room accommodations left a bit to be desired.

5.2/10

My stay at the Pulse New York City was quite nice, especially with its excellent location and friendly staff. The room, although on the smaller side, was well-planned and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I did find the lack of food options a bit inconvenient and missed having more snacks available in the lobby. Overall, it was a solid experience with some minor hiccups.

Rooms
8.0
The room was compact but surprisingly well-designed with a fridge and coffee machine. I appreciated the modern decor, though my view was blocked by neighboring buildings.
Service
10.0
The staff were super friendly and helpful, from check-in to the coffee area. They made my stay feel welcoming, which I really appreciated.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location was perfect for sightseeing! I was within walking distance of so many famous spots like the Empire State Building and Bryant Park, which made exploring the city a breeze.
Dining
6.0
Dining options in the hotel were limited, and though there was coffee and snacks in the lobby, I often had to venture out for other meals, which was a bit of a downside.
Facilities
7.0
While the hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, I would have loved a laundry facility on-site for longer stays.

6.4/10

Staying at the Marriott Vacation Club in New York City was largely positive, with the hotel's central location making it easy to explore major attractions like Times Square and the Empire State Building. The staff were friendly and accommodating, further enhancing my experience. However, the room was quite small, which is often expected in NYC, and left little space for our luggage. Still, the rooftop bar offered stunning views. Overall, I would consider returning for another stay despite the tighter quarters.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were small but stylishly modern in decoration and well-equipped, featuring necessary amenities like a refrigerator. However, I found the space a bit cramped, especially with furniture placement limiting movement.
Service
9.0
The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and remembered names, making me feel welcomed. They provided helpful assistance, allowing an early check-in and storing our bags after checkout, which was greatly appreciated.
Location
10.0
The location was fantastic, just a short walk from major tourist spots, including Sixth Avenue shopping and the vibrant Times Square. Public transportation options nearby made it easy to navigate the city.
Dining
8.0
Although the hotel did not offer a complete dining service, the complimentary coffee in the lobby was a nice touch. Nearby cafés provided excellent breakfast options, making mornings convenient.
Facilities
7.0
The fitness center was well-maintained, and although the rooftop bar was closed during my stay, it appeared to offer lovely views during open hours. The availability of valet parking was another plus.

5.6/10

I recently stayed at the Marriott Vacation Club in New York City, and while the location was fantastic, right in the heart of Manhattan, my experience was a mixed bag. The room was typically small for NYC, which I expected, but I was left wanting more in terms of amenities and viewing options. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which definitely added to my overall impression, but I found the concierge service lacking in useful local recommendations.

Rooms
6.0
The room was comfortable and modern, though quite small, and had a sliding door to the bathroom which could be disruptive at night. I appreciated having essentials like a fridge and coffee machine, but a better view would have improved my stay.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and went out of their way to assist, including valet services that were professional and helpful. However, the concierge's knowledge of local attractions left much to be desired.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location was prime, making it easy to explore New York City on foot, including walking to the High Line and various great restaurants nearby. It provided a perfect mix of being central yet somewhat peaceful.
Dining
7.0
I found the breakfast options at the hotel to be reasonable but nothing really good. It was convenient to eat there, and I enjoyed a fun hotel tour that included a cheesecake tasting.
Facilities
6.0
While I appreciated the complimentary coffee and snacks in the lobby, and I found the hotel to be well-maintained, I was let down by the rooftop bar being closed during my stay.
